The 12th FIMA gatthers over 100 artists and artisans coming from Quebec, British-Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick, Novav Scotia and Argentina. More than 1,600 artworks of different styles and techniques are exposed over a one-kilometre stretch on the street, with a section dedicated to emerging artists.next

 
 
     
   
 

The artist collective EN MASSE will create a large-scale collaborative black and white drawing, under the direction of Jason Botkin and Rupert Bottenberg. EN MASE brings together emerging artists who strive to reach a wide audience with unpretentious and accessible ideas and techniques, drawing from the diverse disciplines of fine art, graphic design, comics, illustration, graffiti, and tattoo art.next

 
 
     
     
 

Ten artists who have appeared in the DÉCOVER magazine will create a large-scale collaborative artwork under the supervision of Micah Lockhart, artistic director of DÉCOVER. Launched in September 2009, DÉCOVER is a publication dedicated to visual arts.next

The performance and interactive installation PINOCCHIO #10 is a black comedy where Pinocchio is a real girl who desperately wants to be in plastic. It is a modern horror tale told with the morbid curiosity and innocent eyes of childhood.next

 
 
     
     
 

In the performance HANGED WOMAN, the giant artist is hanged by the tip of her hair to a tree. When the tension is relieved, she sits down and tears out her hair. One tuft at a time, she throws it on the ground.next

 
 
     
     
 

In the performance CARNATION , the artist is dressed with a tight latex costume, like a second skin. She cuts out some parts and sews the open parts with the wastes, using a sewing thread and a needle until all the holes are sewed with tight seams.next

 
 
     
     
 

The performances YOU SAY PATRI CK, I SAY PASTICHE! emerge from the surreal images that haunt the artist’s subconscious in regards to our world. With crazy characters and a twisted tendency for kitsch, he brings people to mock themselves and

The interactive installation THE BOX OF LOVE&PEACE is inspired by the artist’s studio. The visitors can write, paint, stick and draw what they wish on her art tent, or just talk and move around. Emre Erturk will be proposing a surprising performance with coloured condoms.next

 
 
     
     
 

CONNECTION & DISCONNECTION #3 explores the interaction of the artist’s body with its environment and the public. The audience is invited to connect him to anywhere that they wish, using cotton ropes. He will stay still for a few hours before Rahmat Haron disconnecting himself, leaving the ropes on site.next

 
 
     
     
 

In the interactive installation, MY TRUE WHISPER OF SKIN, Isabel exchanges a nail polish against used nylons. With your help, these socks will be transformed into a giant labyrinth similar to a spider web. The process will be filmed and projected on Sunday.next
