Sounds were filmed in units and then assembled to create a score. Each section of the sound was scripted so that the visuals reflect what emerges from the musical form. Over top of that, a few supplementary motifs are invited along to create a kind of video clip.

BIO / NATHALIE BULOLD
Nathalie Bujold was born in Chandler in the Gaspésie region in 1964. She joined the artist-run centre l'Oeil de Poisson in Quebec City when it was founded in 1985. After four years of working with the collective, she began studying fine arts. In 1992, she completed her BFA at Université Laval in Quebec City, where she received the René Richard award. Her work has been shown in several group exhibitions both in Quebec and abroad. Her third solo exhibition, En Wing en Hein, toured many artist-run centres in Quebec, including Galerie Clark, l'Oeil de Poisson, Axe-néo-7, Vaste at Vague and la Galerie d'art de Matane. It was also shown in Saskatchewan and Alberta at AKA and Stride respectively. In the musical arena, she composed the soundtrack for the show Le Voyage d'un Gâteau in 1992. Her work with moving images debuted with a collection of Super-8 short films in 1989 (Le Sommeil de la Raison Engendre Parfois des Monstres, Simple, Rapide et Délicieux, Le Sheik Brun). Her video work began with Emporium in 1999 and was followed in 2000 by Onélie de l'Onelie and Comptes à Rebours made at Cyprès à Marseille while in residence at Inclassable in 2002. Her video productions are under the label of l'Esprit Pratique and therefore require the exercise of resourcefulness.
