APPLICATION PROCEDURE - EXPO Ste Catherine street

 

STEP 1:SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

You can apply :

  • by post
  • online via our website (www.festivaldesarts.org - button REGISTRATION).

Before submitting your application, please read the section ‘‘Terms and conditions’’ on page 2.

Fill the entry form (page 4) and send it with the following documents:

  • 8 photos of your works - preferably digital photos (JPG-300dpi) or glossies. No slides please.
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Artist Statement - short text (max 5 lines).
  • Registration fees - include a non-refundable cheque of $25 CAD made payable to SPDAC or fill the credit card form on page 8.
  • Envelope - if you wish to recuperate your portfolio, include a stamped self-addressed envelope.
 
STEP 2:SELECTION

Each application is evaluated by a Selection Committee according to the quality and originality of the subjected work. To insure diversity, the FIMA selects in equitable proportions works from various categories and artistic styles.

The artists will be informed of the decision by mail.

The decisions taken by the committee are final.

STEP 3: IF YOUR APPLICATION IS ACCEPTED?

Along with the letter of acceptance, exhibitors will receive a bill for the type of display they have selected in the entry form. You will have three weeks to pay the bill.

We accept CHEQUES, VISA and MASTERCARD.

STEP 4 : ONE MONTH BEFORE THE EVENT

You will receive a kit which includes the official program, a flyer and information about your participation (location of the exhibition space, booth number, schedule of arrival, etc.).
