FIMA IS GROWING!
11 DAYS OF FESTIVITIES - 2 WEEK-ENDS

November 23, 2009 - The 11th edition of the FIMA will be filled with novelties! Indeed, the event is extending to 11 days instead of 4, from July 1st to July 11th.

Over 250 artists will be invited to take part in this extended edition, happening on the BoulevArt as usual (Ste. Catherine Street, between St. Hubert and Papineau). The two week-ends will be dedicated to professionals in visual arts and crafts, while emerging artists will be taking the street from the July 5th to the 7th. Many other activities will be waiting for you on the street: performance art, live demonstrations, short-film screenings, VJ/DJ sessions, etc.

In addition to the outdoor program, we will be holding a major art exhibition by Switzerland artists at the Écomusée du fier monde, July 1st to August 1st.

Flaunt Yourself Contest
FIMA is inviting creators to design the image for its 11th edition poster. The contest is on! Many prizes to win, including the grand prize of $1,000.

Exhibiting artists and artisans
Applications to participate to the next FIMA have started November 16. The deadline is February 28, 2010.
